So, the old wives' tale is that high heart rates like that (over 140 bpm) it's a girl--however, our baby's heartrate started at 170, and he's a boy. Only time will tell! Don't worry about the nuchal ultrasound. It's becoming pretty standard--in the two years between my pregnancies we went from never hearing of it to having one. I can't wait to see pics of these cuties outside their mommy's tummy (but let's keep them in there as long as we can!).
